Massage Therapy

Chiropractic has been shown to work optimally in conjunction with massage therapy. This makes sense. If muscles are tight and strained, chiropractic alignments are going to be more difficult. And after having an adjustment, tight tissues are going to try and return the body to it's rigid ways.

The relaxing "ahhhh!" that you get when you have a massage from a massage therapist. Some patient's like to get massage therapy prior to being adjusted. Others like the feeling of massage afterwards. Still others get massage with no adjustments. All of these are valid options.

If you aren't getting massage therapy done with your chiropractic care, you don't know what you are missing. Chiropractic is a wonderful type of care, and feels good, but massage therapy takes our chiropractic adjustments to a whole new level. If you've had it done in our office, you know what we're talking about.

The most common reasons for getting a massage are:
  • General Relaxation
  • Revitalization
  • Relieve Sore or Tight Muscles
  • Relieve Tension Headaches
  • Recover from Sports Activities
  • General Health and Fitness
  • Improve Circulation
  • Complement Other Health Care

Together, chiropractic and massage provide you with a more complete and effective system of health care.
